**WE HAVE MOVED**
We are excited to announce that we have moved to a brand new location. We have all the same great staff and same contact information, but just a new facility. All appointments will now be at the following address:
#5116, 7005 Fairmount Dr SE
Building 5000 (around the corner to the right)
Calgary, AB T2H 0K4
Once you’re at the main address, drive straight to the back and turn right to find building 5000, and we’re on the ground floor there facing the parking lot. Or if you put “Foundation Oral Surgery” into google maps, it’ll direct you right to our front door.
See here for some pictures of our new facility!
Welcome to Foundation Oral Surgery
Serving Calgary and all surrounding communities from a
central location in the Chinook area of Calgary
At Foundation Oral Surgery, we provide oral surgery services with a personal and patient-centered approach. Dr. Kevin Robertson practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with services ranging from wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting and dental implant placement to corrective jaw surgery. He manages a variety of conditions related to the mouth, teeth and jaws and operates in an accredited outpatient surgical facility which offers both IV sedation and general anesthesia. Our friendly staff and surgeon look forward to serving you!
We believe in timely attention to your needs, so we endeavor to see all new patients as quickly as possible (usually within a week or two — or even sooner for urgent cases). Please call Foundation Oral Surgery Phone Number 403-263-5193 or complete our contact form if you’d like to make an appointment.
Our Facility
Our surgical facility is an accredited Non-Hospital Surgical Facility (also known as a Chartered Surgical Facility, of CSF), which allows us to offer both intravenous (IV) sedation and general anesthesia (GA) administered by a fully licensed medical anesthesiologist, thereby providing the best possible care to all patients.
Alberta Fee Guide
We know health care is expensive and value transparency, which is why we have committed to providing all surgical procedures at (or below) the published 2022 Guide for Dental Fees for Dental Specialists in Alberta. Additionally, we are able to use Alberta Health Care coverage for eligible procedures at no cost at all to the patient.
About Our Surgeon
Dr. Robertson takes great pride in mastering his specialty. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires years of residency training after dental school, including rotations in general anesthesia, internal medicine, general surgery and trauma, ENT, and plastic surgery. Dr. Robertson continued to go above and beyond that level of training by completing an additional year of pediatric maxillofacial surgical training, focused on the management of children with cleft lip and palate and various other craniofacial anomalies. Dr. Robertson always makes the extra effort to ensure you are well informed and comfortable throughout the entire experience.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
We know that the thought of surgery can be stressful for teens and their families, but we can assure you that Dr. Robertson is extremely experienced in performing this very common procedure — in fact he removes thousands of wisdom teeth every year. He will happily answer all of your questions ahead of the procedure and ensure the whole experience is positive and comfortable. Learn more by reading our Wisdom Teeth FAQ.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are the ideal replacement for missing teeth, as they look, feel and function just like natural teeth. Highly durable, dental implants can change the way you live. As a specialist, Dr. Robertson has advanced training in implants and associated bone grafting procedures. In select cases, implants can even be placed at the same time as tooth removal. Learn more by reading our Dental Implant FAQ.
Or, if you are losing all of your teeth, implants can be used to restore your entire arch of teeth all in one day — see more details on this exciting procedure.
Orthognathic (Jaw) Surgery
If you have an abnormal jaw relationship, jaw pain, breathing problems or difficulty chewing, Dr. Robertson can realign your jaws by performing orthognathic surgery, which ensures your teeth meet correctly and function properly. Often done in conjunction with orthodontic treatment, this procedure improves both the form and function of your jaws, alleviates pain, and improves facial appearance.
