Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Robertson manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Robertson practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.
Our Surgical Suite is inspected and approved by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and the Alberta Dental Association & College. In addition, we are a contracted facility with Alberta Health Services for the provision of Alberta Health Care insured procedures.
General anesthetics are given by qualified anesthesiologists.

Our Staff
The staff consists of administrative personnel who are well versed in health and insurance policies.
Our Dental Assistants are licensed by the College of Alberta Dental Assistants are proficient in radiography, infection control, CPR and patient care.
The surgical assistants are Registered Nurses. Our RNs are certified to start IVs and are CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified.
